I realized it's been awhile since I posted.... I really thought I would be better at this... so I'm going to work on it.

This week has been Tech Week for "To Kill a Mockingbird." There have been lots of long days, 10-12s and 8-10s.  And you know what? I feel GREAT!  Another good thing about working long hours... when I get my paychecks I don't have time to blow my money on stupid stuff... so I'll be able to pay off bills! WOOHOO! There's always a bright side, right?

I'm also going to be the Production Assistant for the show that starts rehearsals two days after 'Mockingbird' closes. What fun! And then I've been offered the following show after that as well... so I'm thinking I'm going to take it too. Pretty much working until June 1 now.

I've also got another job offer from one of the guys on crew with me.  He's looking for a Stage Manager for a show he's got in June, which means that I could have gigs lined up for a good part of the summer.  :)   Then Bruno our SM has a friend who works at the Alley in Houston and mentioned that I was looking to get a job in that area.  He said for me to send him my resume and there may be something for me for next season!  It's amazing how small the theatre world is.  It really is all about connections. 

I guess that's all for now!  Our first Preview is this Friday with opening next Wednesday.  I can't wait!

So I decided that I needed something new to post my thoughts.  Sometimes I just want something a little more private than the whole Myspace thing to write about things a little closer to heart.  With that, I thought I'd try the LJ thing. 

Now the task is trying to figure out how to make my Journal look better than what it is.  *sigh* More work and things to learn.  When did I become behind the times?

Anyways... more to come later.
